Situation: Global Gangsterism
On September 11th, 2001 we were plunged into an unsought struggle for survival. It is not a War on Terror. It is a War for Freedom. Our immediate enemy is Infidel Fascism; our long-term enemy is Iranian Imperialism. For the liberty of generations unborn, we must emulate President Ronald Reagan’s successful emancipation strategy against the Soviets: “We win, they lose.”
Today in Iraq, Afghanistan, and throughout the world, humanity is battling Infidel
Fascism. In Islam, Kufar means “infidels.” Because Al Qaeda and Bin-Laden butcher innocents, including Muslims, they are Kufar who pervert Islam’s peaceful path and sinfully seek to enslave others of God’s children. Intensifying the threat, the enemy’s is also fascist; and this hideous ideological concoction has too well adapted to globalization: organized, media savvy, technologically adept, and willing to kill their own children to kill ours, we confront a faceless foe along a million mile front that is waging its war, not on a map, but on your mind. It is global gangsterism – a moral cancer to be scourged from our world.
In the long-term, Iranian Imperialism is a generational enemy to humanity. Through a marriage of convenience with Sunni led Infidel Fascism, Iran (Shiia ruled) is complicit in compounding the spread of terrorism – often with the aid and comfort of Syria, with which the Iranians have signed a “mutual defense” treaty akin to the 1930’s Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Governed by a radical Islamic politburo of mullahs, the Iranian regime is bent upon exporting its revolution through the use of terror and intimidation, including the arming and shielding of our enemies in Iraq, and the development and proliferation of nuclear weapons. Fanatically committed to their imperial phantasm, these Iranian Imperialists are underestimated or ignored at the world’s peril.
Solution: Win Our War for Freedom against Terrorism – Infidel Fascism
The past is prologue. The eternal truth that won World War II and the Cold War will win our global War for Freedom: all human beings have a God-given right to liberty and justice that no person or power can deny.
To win, we must:
- Know our enemy
- Maintain our moral clarity
- Prove our devotion to liberty transcends the enemy’s obsession with death
- Unleash and infuse liberty throughout our counter-insurgency operations and concomitant “grass root” reconstruction efforts
- Empower newly emancipated peoples to seize and shape their own destinies; join our family of free nations; and, together, help all humanity defeat Infidel Fascism.
Iranian Imperialism
So too, liberty is as lethal to Iranian Imperialism as it was to Russian communism. We must:
- Know our enemy
- Maintain our moral clarity
- Prove our devotion to liberty transcends the enemy’s obsession with death
- Know war with Iran is neither desirable nor inevitable
- Constructively contain the Iranian regime
- Advance liberty in the Middle East
- Nurture liberty within Iran until the Mullahs’ imperial regime peacefully implodes beneath its people’s hunger for freedom
Restoration: “Salvation Will Not Be Denied Us”
In his December 26, 1941, address to a joint session of Congress, Prime Minister Winston Churchill warned another shocked generation of Americans to firmly press on:
“Some people may be startled or momentarily depressed when, like your President, I speak of a long and hard war. But our peoples would rather know the truth, somber though it be. And, after all, when we are doing the noblest work in the world, not only defending our hearths and homes but the cause of freedom in other lands…Sure I am that this day – now we are the masters of our fate; that the task which has been set us is not above our strength; that its pangs and toils are not beyond our endurance. As long as we have faith in our cause and an unconquerable will-power, salvation will not be denied us.”
Once again ambushed but unbowed, we heirs of liberty must defeat new enemies to our existence. We will.
