Free people, free markets, free enterprise and private property are the pillars of prosperity that empower Americans to pursue happiness within their families, communities and our country. We must defend these pillars of prosperity against big Government’s seductive calls to exchange our private property for state benefits.
Daily, America’s oil addiction increases: we consume nearly 21 million barrels of oil per day. Worse, while our demand exceeds 25% of global oil production, our known oil reserves are only 3% of global supply. As the developing world’s energy demands escalate, our nation’s dependence upon a single, finite fuel –– often obtained from unfriendly sources and areas we’ve been at war with – poses grave concerns for our prosperity, environment, and security.
If your finances looked like the federal budget, you wouldn’t get elected. You’d get arrested. In the past two fiscal years, tax revenues have increased by double-digit percentages; but spending, the budget deficit, and the debt reached record levels. The government’s morally bankrupt boondoggle with your hard-earned money is a fiscal scam harming Americans’ prosperity; and is an immoral usurpation of Americans’ liberty and sovereignty.
Secure Citizens’ Sovereignty and Soil
In a Global Age where satellite communications bounce across borders, sophisticated elitists can’t understand why Americans are outraged by illegal immigration. The answer is self-evident: America’s sovereignty isn’t in our soil; it is in our souls. Big government, big business, the Left, and this trio’s elitist accomplices have all combined to cheat us of our sovereignty and tax money by enticing and exploiting illegal immigrants into America. We now witness the perverse spectacle of people illegally in America receiving legal benefits; of ’sanctuary cities’ and Leftist advocacy groups unilaterally flouting federal law; and of this crisis’ mocking of the sacrifices and concerns of naturalized citizens and legal immigrants.
Today, under the Industrial Era’s progressive income tax a full 50% of the lowest earning tax filers provide 3.5% of federal tax revenues. Soon, most Americans will deem increased taxes and spending as a bargain, if not a boon. This doesn’t bother the Left, who regard taxpayers as the government’s ATM. Liberals scheme to soak your family budget and bloat the federal budget, because they crave control over Americans’ economic decisions. If nothing is done, liberals will replace free enterprise and property rights with envy and wealth redistribution as the basis of our economy.
Win Our War for Freedom against Terrorism
On September 11th, 2001 we were plunged into an unsought struggle for survival. It is not a War on Terror. It is a War for Freedom. Our immediate enemy is Infidel Fascism; our long-term enemy is Iranian Imperialism. For the liberty of generations unborn, we must emulate President Ronald Reagan’s successful emancipation strategy against the Soviets: ‘We win, they lose.
